As I sip away pain from this broken glass
I feel the burn as this washes my trap
The bourbon drowns as it cleanse's my soul
But a bit too much will leave me cold
I have learned to balance the love and the light
I have seen what happens when dark takes flight
I have paid my way through the toughest of struggles
Yet money can't take me away from my troubles
Push forth shall I until the remainder is bright
